Due to their high chemical and thermal-shock resistance, duran ® laboratory bottles are indispensable for routine work in the laboratory. As neutral glass with high hydrolytic resistance, duran ® belongs to glass type 1 in accord- ance with Ep , JP and USP.
The extensive range of original accessories includes caps for the widest possible range of applications. Duran ® laboratory bottles are completed by suitable pouring rings from different plastics, which enable drip-free working.
Along side clear glass laboratory bottles, amber (absorbs light up to approx. 500 nm) and plastic-coated (absorbs light up to approx. 380 nm) bottles are also available to protect light-sensitive substances. the pu plastic coating also provides protection against scratching and, in the event of breakage, retains contents and glass splinters.
